Seventh Grader Completes Alpine Momentum Program

Lola Earle, a 7th-grade student at SCH, successfully completed the prestigious Alpine Momentum Program (AMP) at Carrabassett Valley Academy (CVA) this past weekend. She trained at the same venue that produced Olympians like Bode Miller and Sam Morse, focusing on elite-level Slalom, Giant Slalom, and Super-G.

The intensive camp pushed Earle through rigorous technical drills, including:

  • Full-course navigation on a single ski to master balance.
  • Straight-line descents in a race tuck on Sugarloaf’s steepest terrain.
  • An endurance-testing volume of over 80 runs in a single day.
  • Recorded speeds exceeding 60 mph.

We take immense pride in our students who pursue high-level athletic passions both in and out of school; true dedication and excellence know no boundaries. Congrats on this amazing achievement, Lola!
