Gold and Bronze for Blue Devils Crew
At the Scholastic Rowing Association of America Championships (SRAA) this past Friday & Saturday, the Blue Devils' two entries both made it to the podium. With unsafe conditions on Saturday, the SRAA went to their rules of the regatta which used the fastest times up to the finals to determine medals.
The boys' lightweight quad of Charlie Miles, Eli Eckert, Luca Belmonte, and Sammy Meyers, took home first place with the fastest time of 4:52.007.
The girls' quad of Liz Castellanos, Ellie McLelland, Ella Webb, and Kiley McTamney took 3rd with a time of 5:35.998.
