Girls & Boys JV Quad Win City Championships
Both the Girls JV and Boys JV Quads are City Champions!
The Girls JV quad of Kaia McTigue, Ashley Keough, Sam Simon, and Gabby Leon-Palfrey not only stayed undefeated on the season with their win, but collected a coveted City Championship. The girls crossed the line in the finals in 6:08.00, defeating Ridgewood, Conestoga, Lower Merion (with two boats), and Shipley.
The Boys JV quad of Jack Stephenson, AJ topping, Jude Halfpenny, and Sam Halfpenny won their final in 5:15.95, defeating Seton Hall Prep, Haverford, Conestoga, Ridgewood A and Ridgewood B. The boys have lost to only one boat this year.
Congratulations to both boats and best of luck in the upcoming Stotesbury regatta on May 14-15.
