Our Blue Devils had an incredible weekend!
The varsity girls squash team started as the No. 9 seed at US Squash High School Nationals and went on to beat No. 8 Taft, No. 1 Sacred Heart, No. 13 Spence, and No. 2 Groton in the finals to win the DII title. The boys team faced Penn Charter in the 2nd consolation finals and were victorious, finishing in 5th place overall in Division III.
Juniors Sean Brett and Nasir Yard traveled to Lehigh University to compete in the Wrestling Prep Nationals and had an excellent showing against tough competition.
At the PA State Track and Field Championships, junior Tony Hicks broke the SCH record of 7.91 with a 7.86 for 2nd in the 60m hurdles! Juniors Stefon Dodoo ran 1:54.25 for 4th in the 800m, Matt McTamney was 10th in the shot put, and Kennedy Hayward was 7th in the 60h.
