Athletes of the Week Ending November 1

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending November 1:

Chloe Roberts '28 - Volleyball - Chloe was outstanding last week during the PAISAA playoffs. In the quarterfinal vs Cristo Rey, she helped the team to take a huge lead and seal the match early. In the semis vs Perkiomen, she was deadly accurate on defense, and when she transitioned to offense, she was on fire. Over the season, Chloe has hit efficiency metrics in every category that helped lead the team to its first-ever PAISAA final appearance and earlier Inter-Ac Championship!

Manny Silva '27 - Football - Manny has been a leader all fall for our undefeated JV football team. He made a huge impact on both offense and defense, playing a majority of the snaps both ways. Manny has contributed physical play on defense, he has numerous long receptions on offense, and set the tone for the entire team all season. His outstanding play has him primed to make a major contribution on the varsity team next fall!

Quinn Clotman '27 and Alyssa Brown '28 - Tennis - As the 3rd varsity doubles pair against Baldwin, their team brought energy and fight to the courts, winning in the 3rd set 10-8,  and adding a crucial point to help get SCH the match win. Both players navigated the match beautifully, and we are proud of their contributions to the team during this match and throughout the season. Great job, Alyssa and Quinn!

Emma Caton '28 - Volleyball - Emma is one of the most versatile players on the JV volleyball team. She is always reliable as a server, plays multiple positions very well, and performs at the top of her game when we need her the most. Her positive attitude and consistent effort are exemplary every day, and she can be counted on to be a great teammate and role model. Way to go, Emma!

Izzy Dupree '27 and Malley Bradenham '29 - Tennis - Playing #1 doubles, Izzy and Malley beat a highly rated and undefeated Lawrenceville team to secure our only win for the SCH team. After pulling out a 1st set tiebreaker win (7-5), they went on to dominate the 2nd set, finishing the match with a 6-2 score. The drama was high, with both teams cheering their players on to victory, and Izzy and Malley played at a very high level, shocking their opponents. It was a perfect way to end the season for the JV team! Nice job, Izzy and Malley!

The JV Girls Soccer Team - SCHout out to the entire US JV girls soccer team for finishing at the top of the table in the Inter-Ac. The team lost only one league game and outscored our opponents for the season… all this with no true goalie! The girls worked hard in both training and games, and we accomplished this together. Special congrats to the juniors on the team who were leaders both on and off the field.
