Athletes of the Week Ending December 6

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending December 6:

Sam Bevan '27 - Ice Hockey - Sam put together a standout opening week for SCH Hockey. In our 7-5 season-opening win at Germantown Academy, he led the way with 4 goals, then followed it up with 2 more goals in a rematch with the Patriots last Friday, setting the tone and establishing himself as a key playmaker. Beyond scoring, Sam is a true leader for the Devils; he is relentless, skilled, and thrives in big moments. He elevates his linemates and sets the standard for the team. Way to go, Sam!

Malley Bradenham '29 - Squash - Malley made her varsity debut at the 4th spot as a new 9th grader this season. She has an amazing attitude and energy on and off the court, and that enthusiasm helped the team beat GFS 7-0, turning around last year's result of 1-6! We are so happy to have you here at SCH- great work, Malley!

AJ Trunfio '26 - Basketball - AJ, a senior captain, led the varsity team to a 3-1 week, averaging 8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. His leadership to start the season has played a large part in the Blue Devils’ early success, and we know he will continue to bring that same intensity to practices and games every day. Keep it up, AJ!

Classie Moses '30 - Basketball - Classie is proving that no stage is too bright. Playing up as an eighth grader, she has helped our team tremendously since joining this season. Her 18 points and multiple steals against Lawrenceville helped us soar to a 66-48 win. It is such an encouragement to see her joyful spirit and can-do attitude be a shining light to everyone on our team, and I have no doubt she has big things ahead of her this season. Proud of you, Classie!

Adam Keefe '29 - Wrestling - Adam has a tremendous work ethic, and his tenacity is on full display on a daily basis in the practice room. He currently has a record of 5-2, and we are sure there will be plenty more wins this season. We are looking forward to Adam’s continued growth and success this year and beyond!

Tristan Dequesne '29 - Squash - Tristan made his varsity debut as a 9th grader this year and had an amazing match last week vs GFS. He was down 2-1 and came back to win in the 5th set, showing great resilience and determination. We are excited to see what the future holds for you, Tristan!

Elin Stone '29 - Squash - Elin has shown a great improvement on court over the last year, and she looks to be challenging for a regular varsity starting spot this season. The work she is putting in is evident, and we are thrilled to see her efforts pay off. Congrats, Elin!
