Athletes of the Week Ending 5/18

Trevor Saccomandi '25 - Lacrosse - Trevor tallied 7 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers in wins against Hun and GA last week. He has been an excellent addition to the Blue Devils team and we look forward to his continued success next season! 

Jaime Neris '24 - Baseball - Jaime hit .500 with a double and 2 RBIs last week and has had a great senior season for the Devils. He is a high-energy player and extremely positive teammate, and we wish him continued success at the next level at Goldey-Beacom College next year!

Sadie Friedman '26 - Softball - In the two wins with Notre Dame and Mercersburg last week, she went 4 for 7 at the plate and accumulated 3 RBIs, a walk, and scored 4 runs! She has been a consistent hitter all season in the lead-off spot for the Blue Devils. Sadie has also been very solid defensively at second base, making both routine and tough plays look easy all season! Congrats, Sadie! 

Arjun Goswami '24 & Will Kollmar '24 - Tennis - Doubles partners Arjun and Will embody what it is to be a student-athlete, excelling both on the court and in the classroom. Last week they won several matches, successfully defeating St. Joe's Prep on senior day 6-4 6-2, and Episcopal 6-4 6-3. Will and Arjun were playing at their top level as they concluded their careers as Blue Devils. Congrats boys and good luck to Will at Georgia Tech and Arjun at Penn!
