The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending 4/13:
Kamaha’o Bode '24 - Softball - Kama went 4 for 4 with 4 doubles against GA to lead the team to a big 7-1 win last week! She also had an RBI and scored once in the game. Kama is valued as a 2-year captain and is the vocal leader of the young team around her, providing positive support and enthusiasm every day!
Tony Hicks '25 - Track and Field - Tony started his season wowing the crowd at Malvern Prep with two performances that are ranked #1 in PA for the 110m hurdles and the 300m hurdles! At that Inter-Ac meet on Wednesday 4/10, Tony placed 1st with great early season times of 14.28 in the 110m hurdles and 38.91 in the 300m hurdles. At the Bensalem Invitational on Saturday 4/13, Tony again represented SCH well placing 1st in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.34! Congratulations Tony!
Kennedy Hayward '25 - Track and Field - Kennedy is off to a great start this season! This past week the fierce competitor participated in two track meets earning three gold medals! At the Inter-Ac meet SCH hosted on Wednesday, Kennedy earned 1st Place in the 100m dash with a time of 12.88, and she helped her 4x400m relay team place 1st with a time of 4:14.03, earning a spot in PA's top 25! At the Bensalem Invitational, Kennedy represented SCH well and brought home a gold medal in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.72. Congratulations Kennedy!
Connor Flatow '26 - Baseball - Connor came in as the relief pitcher against GA in a tight 2-2 JV game last Tuesday. In his 5 innings pitched, he gave up 0 runs on 2 hits to earn the 5-2 victory for the Blue Devils! Keep up the great work, Connor!
Anna Gauvin '28 - Lacrosse - Anna is one of the most versatile players on the varsity team and was instrumental in our win over GA last week. She also recorded 4 caused turnovers that game, gaining us possession of the ball, leading to two additional goals. Anna’s draw control efforts led to additional team possessions and ultimately the victory. Most notably, Anna’s relentless effort and the high level of energy she brings to the game is indispensable. Nice job Anna!
Thomas Webber '28 - Baseball - Thomas pitched 4 strong innings vs EA with 6 strikeouts and was on base in all 3 of his at-bats. He is a tremendous leader, a tireless worker, and an excellent asset to our varsity baseball program. Thomas has a very bright future in baseball at SCH!
