Athletes of the Week Ending 3/25

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending 3/25:

Samantha Snyder '27 - Softball - Sami pitched a complete game, allowing the Blue Devils to outscore a strong Archbishop Ryan team. The game went into extra innings, but Sami remained strong on the mound with 13 total strikeouts, giving up just 3 earned runs and an impressive 0 walks in 9 innings for the win! Amazing work, Sami!

Dylan Duke '23 - Baseball - Dylan pitched a 4-inning shutout with 8 strikeouts last Wednesday in the varsity team’s 9-9 tie with LaSalle. SCH was down in the first two innings but battled back when Dylan entered the game and he gave the Devils the spark they needed. We are looking forward to his steady and strong pitching this season!

Sarah Scollin '24 - Lacrosse - Sarah has been an incredibly valuable asset for the Devils on both ends of the field. Her tenacious, unselfish play and high lacrosse IQ set her teammates up for success all over the field. Last week, she tallied 3 goals, 1 assist, 4 draw controls, 3 caused turnovers, and had 3 ground balls. Way to go, Sarah!

Brendan Dundas '23 - Lacrosse - Brendan, a senior captain, had two great games last week! He scored 7 goals and had 1 assist vs St. Joe’s Prep in a 15-7 win, and tallied 2 goals and 3 assists in the 12-7 victory over Westtown. Brendan’s tough play and excellent ability to see the field will help lead the Devils to more wins this season.

Joe Pieczynski '26 - Baseball - Joe pitched 3 strong innings for the JV squad in last week’s 6-5 win over LaSalle. At the plate, he went 1-2, including a double, and brings 100 percent effort to every game and practice. Great work, Joe!

Kass Magarity '26 - Lacrosse - Kass has been an amazing addition to the JV girls’ lacrosse team this year! She has been involved in play-making action all over the field, brings a positive attitude, and is dialed in, every day! We are so excited to see her improve this year, and we know her future is bright!
