Athletes of the Week Ending 2/11

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending 2/11:

Julia Thomson '23 - Basketball - Julia, a lightning-quick perimeter defender and facilitator, helped to secure a commanding victory over Baldwin on Senior Night. She ended the game with 6 points, 4 assists, and a season-high 7 steals! We'll miss you, and good luck next year, Julia!

Cam Burns '24 - Basketball - Camden Burns has been helping to carry the Blue Devils throughout the year and last week was no different. He averaged 12 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds in a 2-0 week vs EA and Malvern. His intensity and drive have not gone unnoticed! Great work, Cam!

Finley Redpath '26 - Squash - Finley has put in a constant effort all season, moving up the ladder each week because of her hard work and determination. She comes to practice on time every day, continues to improve her game with drills, and has been a great contributor in both varsity and JV matches all season. Keep up that grit, Finley!

Rae Hartner '26 - Basketball - In the final game of the JV season, Rae was locked in defensively against Academy of Notre Dame! Generating multiple steals for fast breaks, she spurred some impressive runs for the Blue Devils. Great work this season, Rae!

Wheeler Moore '28 - Basketball - Wheeler led the team with 15 points, 4 assists, 4 steals for the visiting Blue Devils in a big win over The Philadelphia School last week! He has improved in every aspect of his game this year, and is comfortable playing the point guard position, but has worked really hard on becoming a combo guard. We look forward to Wheeler taking on a leadership role with the team next year in 8th grade!

Emma Carey '29 - Basketball - In the game against EA recently, Emma scored a season-high 14 points and played great defense, getting a number of steals in our 30-18 win. She followed that up with 11 points in a 34-21 victory against Norwood Academy in our final game of the season. Emma did this all while being tasked with guarding the opposing team's best players. Way to go, Emma!
