Athletes of the Week Ending 1/21

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending 1/21:

William “Chilly” Gallagher '24 - Ice Hockey - Chilly had two goals and two assists in our two games vs. ANC and Episcopal last week. He provides a spark on offense with his skillful moves, has a great work ethic, and always gives 100 percent during games and practices.

Fallon George '23 - Basketball - Since starting league play, Fallon has found her stride and continues to positively impact each varsity game on both sides of the court. A capable wing defender and rebounder, Fallon helps to round out a backcourt that's growing more effective at turning defensive stops into offensive opportunities. Fallon had a standout game versus EA, finishing with six points, nine rebounds, and three steals.

Nasir Yard '25 - Wrestling - Nasir was an impressive 8-0 for his last eight bouts, including a dominant win by pin against league-rival EA last Friday. He improves in every match and practice, a testament to his hard work and dedication.

Ronald Brown '24 - Basketball - Ronald scored a team-high 18 points on Friday in a tough varsity game vs. Malvern Prep. Last week, he averaged five rebounds and two steals per game, rejuvenating the Blue Devil offense. Great job, Ron!

Olivia Weissman '26 - Basketball - While most efficient close to the basket, Olivia has shown flashes of her passing ability by providing her JV teammates with timely passes for scoring opportunities. She's also expanded her game with an increasingly efficient mid-range jumper and has seen some varsity minutes recently. Keep it going, Liv!

Ryan Piatkowski '27 - Wrestling - Ryan went 2-1 against league rival EA this past week. He has demonstrated the value of hard work and is improving every day at practice. The team looks forward to what Ryan can accomplish on the mat. Great work, Ryan!

Mimi Gallagher '28 - Basketball - Mimi had a great defensive game vs. Germantown Academy, holding their top player to only 12 total points and just two in the 4th quarter. She is always solid on offense and is consistently one of the hardest-working players on the team. Keep it up, Mimi!

Lev Eskin '27 - Basketball - Lev helped us pick up two big wins vs Malvern and PC last week. He did a wonderful job handling the pressure at point guard and hit a few clutch free throws to help seal the win vs. PC.  He is a great competitor who expects a lot from himself and his teammates! Excellent job, Lev!
