Athletes of the Week 4/10

Caden McNichol '22 - Lacrosse - Caden shut down his defensive matchup in the Devil’s win at Springfield and loss at Severna Park last week. He had 7 caused turnovers and 8 ground balls during both games and leads the team as a senior captain on and off the field. Great work Caden!

Sarah Scollin '24 - Lacrosse - Sarah has made her presence known as a two-way middie on both ends of the field. Her tenacity and commitment to teamwork helped secure 3 SCH wins on a tough slate last week vs PC, GA, and O’Hara. Sarah posted an impressive 5 goals, 5 assists, 6 caused turnovers, 4 draw controls, and 5 ground balls, illustrating a solid performance on both ends of the field.

 Nino Zappala '24 - Tennis - Nino played exhibition singles for the first time last week in the JV match vs Haverford. He lost the first set 0-6, quickly readjusted and he came back to win the 2nd set! So proud of his grit and hard work. Looking forward to see his progress over the rest of the season!

 Faith S. '23 - Softball - Faith was impressive at the plate in the two league wins on the softball diamond last week. Against GA, she had 3 hits, 3 RBI's, scored a run, and walked twice. Faith also walked twice in the win over PC and had a solid hit.  She got on base a total of 8 times in the two games and has a great range from shortstop. She is a great addition to the SCH softball program!
