The Springside Alumnae Association presents this year’s Young Alumna Award to Nicole Allen White, Class of 2004. This award recognizes the achievements of alumnae who have graduated within the past 20 years and reflects a demonstrated excellence in a career or service to the community.
Nicole received her BA from George Washington University and a JD from Drexel University. While in law school, Nicole interned with the City’s Law Department and worked in the law school’s Entrepreneurial Law Clinic.
Nicole is currently the Director of Government and External Affairs for the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Her responsibilities include the advancement of the Museum’s goals for public support for its programs and building its relationships with city, state, and federal legislators and officials, as well as community groups.
Nicole served as a delegate for the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia and has experience in philanthropic work.
She co-founded the Pattison Leader Group, a young professional group focusing on engaging millennials in the political process. Additionally, she serves on the Board of USA250 and chairs the young outreach arm of the organization, Gen 250 and is a member of the Young Involved Philadelphia Advocacy Committee. Nicole was honored as City and State PA's 40 Under 40 Rising Stars.
In addition to her work outside of school, Nicole also serves on the Young Alumni Council that hosted its first networking event in 2017. She also co-hosted an Admissions event “SCH in Your Community” at the Philadelphia Art Museum.
