Porter Shimer '67

Porter was an outstanding multi-sport athlete at CHA. He received 14 varsity letters in four years in football, wrestling, baseball, track, and tennis. As a freshman, he earned letters in tennis and wrestling and helped the tennis team to the Inter-Ac title. He lettered in football, wrestling, and baseball as a sophomore. During his junior and senior years, he lettered in four sports: football, wrestling, baseball, and track. In his senior football season, he was named First Team All-Northwest, Second Team All-Inter-Ac, a Maxwell Club Player of the Week, and the Bulletin Scholar-Athlete. He attended Princeton University where he played football his freshman year.
