Peter G. Stanley '60

Peter was a 12-letter athlete in four sports at CHA. He played on the baseball, football, basketball, and track teams, serving as captain for the basketball team and co-captain for the baseball and football teams. Peter was a multi-event track star, competing as a sprinter and hurdler and in the javelin and discus. He scored 13 points in one Inter-Ac Championship, twice winning the long jump title at that meet, and once scored 30 points in a dual meet. He went on to play football at Williams College, where he set the record for the longest field goal and was Honorable Mention All-New England. At Dickinson College, Peter set records for the longest punt return and punt-return yardage for a season.
