Jonathan Freeman '94

Jonathan was a three-sport star throughout his high school career at CHA. He earned 11 letters while playing soccer, squash, and tennis. He lettered in varsity squash and tennis as a freshman and was voted the recipient of the Ann L. Witman Trophy for Most Improved Tennis Player. He lettered in varsity soccer, squash, and tennis his sophomore through senior seasons and as a sophomore was awarded the MacColl Award as the Most Improved Player on the varsity soccer team. As a junior, he was captain of the squash team and received the John M. McIlvain Award as the Most Outstanding Player award for squash. As a senior, he captained both soccer and squash, earned the Dilworth Lees Memorial Award in Soccer for “Sportsmanship and Leadership,” the John M. McIlvain Award for Most Outstanding Player a second time, and was named the recipient of the J. L. Patterson Cup as the Outstanding Senior Athlete. He went on to play soccer and squash at Trinity College. He was named captain of the soccer and squash teams his junior and senior years, helped the soccer team earn a berth in the NCAA tournament, and was undefeated in squash his junior and senior seasons.
