Ibraheim Campbell ’10

During his years at CHA, Ibraheim Campbell ’10 was captain of the football team, for which he played running back and defensive back, and was also captain of the track team. He was Inter-Academic League MVP during his senior year in 2009, 1st Team All-League and All-City in the 2008-2009 season, and All-State in 2009. He was one of the Daily News City Football Players of the Year in 2009 and was also named to the Daily News All-Decade team. He is the school record holder for rushing yards in a single season and second in Inter-Ac history with 1885 yards and, in total, finished with 3,957 yards rushing and 52 touchdowns. Additionally, Ibraheim still holds the school records for Track and Field in the 110 and 300-meter hurdle events, as well as the 4x200-meter relay. Ibraheim also received the J.L. Patterson Cup, which is awarded to the top senior athlete in the class. 

One of the top recruits in the state, he went on to play college football at Northwestern University and was a four-year starter. He was selected to the freshman All-American team in 2011. He was awarded an All-Big Ten team Honorable Mention in 2013 and named to the All-Big Ten second team in 2014. 

In 2015, Ibraheim was drafted in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. During his second season he became a starter, and during his six-year career he went on to play for six other NFL Teams.
