On Robotics
“Robotics taught me time and project management, communication, and leadership.”
On ‘Nerding Out’
“As a junior attending CHA, I had the amazing opportunity to be in the very first Engineering and Robotics class which led to participating on the first-ever Robotics team for CHA/Springside. While athletics was my main extracurricular focus, I consider myself extremely lucky to have been able to experience opportunities like participating in building a functional robot with my classmates and then experiencing the FIRST Robotics competitions. Like several experiences at CHA, it took me out of my comfort zone, but to this day I still nerd out when I see FIRST Robotics in the news or on social media. Now as a father of three girls, I want to make sure my kids have every opportunity to experience something just as special.”
