Michael Beautyman ’05

Michael Beautyman ’05 is a Commander in the United States Navy whose distinguished career reflects extraordinary leadership, global impact, and a deep commitment to service.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and MIT, Michael has led complex operations around the world, including disaster response, maritime recovery missions, and critical national security initiatives. His work has spanned collaborations across all branches of the military, international partners, and federal agencies, earning him numerous honors, including multiple Meritorious Service Medals and the Canadian Joint Operations Command Commendation.

Beyond his operational achievements, Michael is deeply committed to mentorship, education, and community engagement. From leading global teams to volunteering in STEM and emergency medical programs, he has consistently invested in developing others and strengthening the communities he serves.

Michael remains closely connected to SCH, sharing his experiences with students and supporting the Players program.
