Ed Glassman ’03 is an innovative educator and dynamic leader whose vision and dedication have reshaped the Springside Chestnut Hill Academy experience for students and alumni alike.

As executive director of the Sands Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL), Ed has built and elevated a program that is now central to the SCH identity, one that challenges every student to think like an entrepreneur, solve meaningful problems, and approach the world with creativity, resilience, and purpose. Under his leadership, CEL has grown into a nationally recognized model for experiential learning, inspiring students to become confident, forward-thinking leaders.

Ed’s impact extends far beyond program development. A passionate mentor and role model, he has devoted himself to supporting students as an individual, encouraging them to take risks, embrace failure as part of growth, and pursue their ambitions with discipline and integrity. His influence is evident in the countless students he has guided and inspired.

His leadership and accomplishments have earned regional recognition, including being named to the Philadelphia Business Journal’s “40 Under 40,” honoring emerging leaders whose work is shaping the future of the region.

Through his tireless commitment, innovative spirit, and deep belief in the potential of young people, Ed has made an extraordinary and lasting contribution to SCH.
