Five students are recognized as athletes of the week for the week ending November 21, 2020.
Maya McDermott '22 - soccer - assisted on goals in both 2-0 wins over Agnes Irwin and Episcopal, leading the team with six assists. She dominates the left side of the field and is a constant threat with her athleticism, as well as her 1v1 ability by constantly putting balls into the box to create problems for the opposing team's defense. The team finished with a perfect 5-0 record this fall.
Pat Ferns '21 - football - led the defense in a 24-38 loss to Germantown with seven tackles, including two for a loss as well as a pass break-up. Pat also leads the offensive line from his center position. The team finished with a 1-3 record this fall.
Moje Badejoko '22 - soccer - was instrumental in a 1-1 tie with Episcopal, having earned the penalty kick on which the team scored. In a 1-0 win over Haverford, Moje played through intense pain, stepping up to play great defense as well as beginning attacks forward. The team finished with a 4-0-1 record this fall.
Noa Haims '21 - field hockey - scored goals in a 4-3 win over Penn Charter and a 2-5 loss to Germantown. Noa has been a consistent threat on the offensive side on the field. The team finished with a 1-5 record.
Andrew Lauerman '21 - golf - placed second in the Inter-Ac out of 36 golfers. In the three competitions, Andrew shot an average of 38.3, just missing out on the top spot by .03. He was 23-3-3 individually and helped the Devils to a 3-8 team record.
