What a week for SCH sports!

What a week for SCH sports!

Our teams are nearing the end of their seasons and they continue to SCHine.

Here are some of the highlights from this week:

  • Senior Lucy Pearson tallied her 300th save in goal for the Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse team, which is quite a feat, as it was accomplished over only 2 seasons!

  • Varsity Boys’ Tennis added two big team victories over Malvern Prep and celebrated their 5 graduating seniors.

  • Middle School Track traveled to PC for the IAAL meet, and our kids did a fantastic job. Congratulations to High Jump winner Alexa Williams, Long Jump winner Lauren Wilson and 4x100 winners Lauren Wilson, Neeve Doherty, Marlee Howard, and Gabby Kilshaw! Elijah McMullen took 2nd in the hurdles, Gabby Kilshaw was 2nd in the long jump and Nadia Russell was 2nd in the shot put. On the boys’ side, Joey O’Brien was third in the hurdles and the 4x100 relay of Jahi Al-Uqdah, Micah Ford, Alec Gupte, and Joey O’Brien finished 3rd! Excellent results, all!

  • US softball had a nail-biting victory over EA for a current share of 1st place in the league. With bases loaded, senior captain Marissa Wolff hit a 3-run triple, securing the 3-2 victory.

Finish strong and good luck in the playoffs, everyone!!!
