Students Named Inter-Ac Athletic Directors' Award Recipients

Abbie Rorke and Jared Sprague-Lott will be awarded SCH's Inter-Ac Athletic Directors' Award on May 6.

In a virtual ceremony, seniors Abbie Rorke, Jared Sprague-Lott, and 11 other Inter-Ac student athletes will be presented with the annual Inter-Ac Athletic Directors' Award.

This award, initially given to female student-athletes, was named in honor of Aimee Willard from 1997-2010. The award is presented annually to a senior who has been a multi-sport varsity athlete, exemplifies dedication to their team and school, and is an outstanding representative of the Inter-Ac league, leadership, and sportsmanship.

Abbie, who will attend UPenn this Fall and compete on the squash team, was a three-sport athlete. She won a PAISAA and Inter-Ac Championship on the soccer field, was captain of the squash team, and captain of the lacrosse team.

Jared, who will attend University of Richmond and compete on the baseball team, was a two-sport athlete. He was captain of the basketball and baseball teams, and helped the team to an Inter-Ac Baseball Championship.
