CeCe Reilly '22 and Lucy Pearson '22 led the Blue Devils to an opening win over Germantown Academy 16-11 and a 20-3 win over Baldwin
Reilly scored 7 goals and added 3 assists to lead SCH to an opening win over Germantown Academy. The Blue Devils led by 3 at the half 9-6 and at one point built the lead to 6, finishing with a 16-11 win.
Brooke Prochniak '21 and Maddy Caliendo '24 each added 4 goals as well as an assist. Hannah Knox '21 chipped in with 1 goal and 2 helpers while Alex Reilly '24 and Caroline Foley '23 both added assists. Alex led the team with 6 draw controls and 4 ground balls.
Lucy Pearson did an excellent job in goal as she stopped 15 shots. She also started many Blue Devil offensive attacks with terrific passes upfield.
On Monday, SCH hosted Baldwin and won 20-3. CeCe Reilly again led the team with another 7 goals while her sister Alex found the back of the net twice. Prochniak added 6 goals while Emma Bradbury '23, in her first game, contributed 4 goals, 2 assists, and 8 draw controls.
Madison Freeman '23 scored a goal while Abby Cannon '21, Hanna Knox '21, Maddy Caliendo '24, and Sarah Scollin '24 all added assists. Pearson stopped 9 Baldwin shots.
