Girls JV Quad takes Bronze at Stotesbury

The quad of Sam Simon, Ashley Keough, Kaia McTigue, and Gaby Leon-Palfrey won all 3 of the Manny Flicks as well as the City Championships before their 3rd place finish at the 94th annual Stotesbury Regatta. The Stotesbury is always a tough regatta and the quad showed their toughness as they began the regatta in 2nd place out of 23 boats with a top time of 5:33.09 to progress to the semi-finals.

In the semi-finals, the Blue Devils won their race in 5:36:46 in an exciting fashion as they just nipped Western Albermarle who crossed in 5:36:54. Conestoga, Hockaday (TX), Wyoming Seminary, and Strath Haven finished in 3rd-6th.

In the finals, SCH rowed a 5:51 just behind North Allegheny in 5:44 and nemesis Western Albermarle in 5:47. Haddon Township, Germantown Academy, and Conestoga went 4-6.
