Girls & Boys Soccer Win Opener

Both the returning Inter-Ac champions won their opening contests. The Girls blew past Episcopal 6-1 while the Boys won a hard fought 1-0 win at Haverford.

JoJo McShane showed why she was last years league MVP and PA All-State player as she dominated the field and scored 2 goals. Lisa McIntyre scored first for the Blue Devils with McShane adding her first about a minute later to put the guest up 2-0. Maya McDermott found the back of the net to make it 3-0 at intermission. Bella Brown and Esther Lamb scored in the 2nd half with McShane wedging in her second goal between Browns and Lambs. 

Mary Trudeau and McDermott added assists while McIntyre helped on two goals. 

Connor Koschineg scored the Blue Devils only goal off of a Ben Hayes throw in towards the end of the 1st half. Coach Zalasky praised the play of Colin Woehlcke and Ryan White for strong play in their first starts. Ben Rodgers stopped 2 Ford shots.

Both teams take on the Germantown Patriots this Thursday.
