Chavez's 19 Points Lead Devils to Opening Win

Ava Chavez '23 dropped in 19 points to lead SCH Academy to a win over Agnes Irwin. The Blue Devils led the entire game and took a 20-14 lead into the half. As per Inter-Ac and Philly City mandates, both basketball teams played with masks on and kept distanced on the bench.

Tatyana Hall '23 was the other double digit scorer with 11 points, while five other Blue Devils scored: Kate Jaconetti '24, Abby Fitzmaurice '23, Zahkiyyah Frazier '24, Julia Thomson '23, and Moira Mulligan '21. Frazier did some great work in the paint with seven defensive rebounds.

SCH led at the end of the third (31-25) and closed out their opening debut with a 41-29 victory. The Blue Devils were missing three players due to covid quarantine procedures.
