The Blue Devils had a huge 3rd inning, scoring 6 runs, to come back from a 0-4 deficit to ultimately win 8-4 over the visiting Patriots on 4/20. The team is now 2-2 in the ever competitive Inter-Ac with an earlier win 6-4 win over Episcopal followed by a 0-2 loss to Haverford and a 0-5 loss to Penn Charter.
SCH is 5-4 over all with non-league wins over Lawrenceville 14-2, Arch Bishop Carroll 12-3 and Neumann Goretti 4-0. The Devils dropped a 4-5 game to LaSalle.
In the last two weeks, offensively, Sean Finn has had the hot bat, leading the team with a .400 percentage, going 6 for 15 and scoring 3 runs. Brian Finn and Brian Henesey are hitting .300 while Julian Norwood is .273, Bobby Markey and Chuck Norton .250. Norton, Norwood, and Jakob Runkel have all hit doubles.
