Athletes of the Week Ending October 18

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending October 18:

Alex de Beaulac '27 - Soccer - Alex, a junior UVA commit, scored two game-winning goals in two vital victories vs AIS and PC last week. Her consistent aggressive play up front makes her a dangerous player around our opponent’s goal, and she lets them know by connecting with the back of the net! Alex is a hard worker and always pushes everyone around her to play their best. Keep it up, Alex!

The Offensive Line - Football - All season long, the offensive line, consisting of RT Kyle Cameron, RG Kyle Knox, C Nolan Delaney, LG Brian Dougherty, LT Oliver Yespy, and TE Johnny Nosal, has been the engine keeping us moving. On Saturday at homecoming, they had one of the best games of the year, and the results were impressive in our 34-13 victory over GA. The Offensive line paved the way for 33 carries for 335 yards and 4 touchdowns with an amazing average of 10 yards per rush. We look forward to this unit leading us during our last 3 weeks of the season.

Roman McNichols '26 - Cross Country - Congratulations to Roman, our team captain, who has had a great season and sets a wonderful example for our young athletes. In addition to his team contributions, we are so proud of him for earning both Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh International awards prior to the season. What an amazing honor, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors!

Dylan Gary '28 - Golf - Dylan has been the JV team’s most consistent player this fall, improving every day. He has also solidified himself as the best performer during our matches, posting the team’s best score in the last 3 matches. Way to go, Dylan!

Keira Evans '30 - Field Hockey - Keira has been a true leader this season for MSFH and has stepped up to that challenge. She does a great job of being a role model for the younger players and always includes everyone. I am so proud of how much she has paid attention to detail in skills and chalk talk!

Allison Horowski '32 - Tennis - Allison is one of the MSG varsity’s toughest up-and-coming players! She put up a great fight and almost claimed a victory against GFS on Monday. The next day, she went wire to wire, defeating her ND opponent 8-1. Allison has grown in the fundamentals and her match strategies this year, and we look forward to a lot of great tennis to come!

Violet Friedland '32 - Soccer - Violet has had a great season in the goal for the MSG JV team. She is a selfless player who will do anything for the good of the team. Violet’s goalie skills have helped the us tremendously, keeping us in games and ensuring the team a win! Great work, Violet!

Grayson Wright '32 - Golf - Congrats to Grayson for having the lowest score of any MS golfer in both of our two matches! He also brings great effort and enthusiasm to every practice. Great work, Grayson!

Leighton Kahoe '31 - Volleyball - Leighton brought the heat from the service line this week. Her focus and consistency helped us secure two awesome wins for the MS JV squad. Leighton has a positive attitude toward everything she does and has worked so hard to get where she is today. Great work, Leighton!
