The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending September 24:
Zayd DeVeaux '24 - Soccer - Zayd was tremendous in his performances last week. Not only did he score the Varsity’s lone goal against Lawrenceville (with a great assist from Idy Watt '23), he showed his flexibility and prowess as a soccer player by then shifting into a more defensive role in our games against LaSalle and Phelps. He's been massive for the team so far and we look forward to what his contributions will be as we enter InterAc play.
Alexander Zeka '25 - Soccer - Beyond scoring two goals in three games, Alexander has created a multitude of chances and his work ethic has been top-notch for the team. He's been a model for the younger guys on the JV team and we can't wait for him to build on this momentum.
Abby Kenkelen '23 - Soccer - Abby had a hat-trick in Saturday’s 6-1 Varsity win over Hill. She consistently works hard in practice, gains confidence every day, and she is becoming a major threat on the attack. Great work, Abby!
Mia Santiago '24 - Soccer - Mia is an amazing captain for the JV squad this year. She led the team to a huge 6-1 victory vs Hill last weekend, with two goals and an assist. Keep up the great effort, Mia!
Reagan Synderman '27 - Field Hockey - As a new member of the MS FH team Reagan has been a quiet, positive leader. Her level of play elevates those around her, she has endless energy on the field and is always ready to "coach" her teammates to improve their positioning. We look forward to her contributions this season!
Skye Martinez '27 - Volleyball - Skye has been a constant on the MS Varsity team for a while, but she has perfected her serve this year and was a key reason for our 2-0 opening day win against AIS. Her serve was one that the other team struggled with and it launched us to a big win to start off the season! We are so proud of what Skye has accomplished!
