Athletes of the Week Ending 9/23

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week, ending 9/23.

Alex Topping '25 - Golf - Alex tied for the overall low score of the day (39) during Varsity’s match vs Hill School at Brookside Country Club last Friday in a close 209-203 loss. He consistently puts in extra effort at practice and on the course to improve his game, and he leads by example. Keep up the good work, Alex! 

Deus Stanislaus '27 - Soccer - Deus led the team with 2 goals in varsity’s first Inter-Ac game of the season vs Baldwin. Her constant threat on the attack and steady danger around the box with both feet helped the team secure a strong 8-0 win to open Inter-Ac play. Deus is always focused and ready to play and compete in practices which transitions to the game and makes her presence an immediate threat. Awesome work, Deus!

Alex Zeka '25 - Soccer - Alex put together solid performances last week against Georgetown Prep and Lawrenceville, culminating the week with a game-winning goal against LaSalle on their home turf. Alex has been steadily improving throughout the course of the season, and his work ethic has begun to pay dividends. He's currently tied for second on the team in goal-scoring and is continually finding ways to contribute to the team beyond the score sheet. Well done, Alex! Climb on, climb on. 

Ariya Goswami '26 - Tennis - Ariya exemplified great integrity while playing a tough opponent during varsity’s match last week at PC. She represented SCH with excellent sportsmanship under pressure and continues to give 100% at practices and matches. We are proud of you, Ariya!

Reggie Banks '29 - Soccer - The loss to Episcopal last week for MSB JV Soccer does not reflect the incredible job Reggie delivered in goal for the Devils. He faced an onslaught of shots from EA and he dove, jumped and slid into attackers to defend the Devil's net. With Reggie in goal, the Devils are off to a promising start for the season. Bravo, Reggie! 

Devon Donato '28 - Field Hockey - Devon scored in each of the MS games last week, vs Agnes Irwin and Bryn Athyn. She has shown impressive leadership on and off the field, and the team always knows they can count on Devon to consistently play her hardest. Great job!
