Athletes of the Week Ending 4/15

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week for 4/15:

Drew Sharon '25 - Tennis - Last week, Drew went 3-0 for varsity in singles and 1-0 in doubles, with 2 wins over The Hill School and singles wins over Episcopal and Malvern. Drew lost his first set to The Hill School, won the second set in a tie-breaker, and pulled out a third set win in a super breaker 10-7 to secure the victory. Drew is incredibly deserving of Athlete of the Week!

Madison Freeman '24 - Lacrosse - Madison has been hungry after coming back from an early contact injury and was an absolute spark to our offense, putting away 5 goals, 2 assists, and causing 4 turnovers in a big Inter-Ac week vs GA and EA. Her positive energy, laser focus, and competitive nature are infectious. Madison is an unbelievable role model for our younger players and she is just getting started!

Sean Finn '23 - Baseball - Sean was 5 for 8 at the plate with 3 triples, 4 RBIs, and 4 runs during the team’s big Inter-Ac victories over PC and GA last week! His poise, work ethic, and leadership are invaluable and will be missed next year as he moves on to play at UConn!

Will Pownall '26 - Baseball - Will pitched 4 innings with zero earned runs against GA in the JV team’s 13-3 victory last Thursday, and he had 3 total hits last week! Awesome job, Will, looking forward to your continued success this season!

Lily Spaeth '26 - Lacrosse - Lily is a JV standout who answered the call in her varsity debut by scoring her first career goal off of an Emma Bradbury assist vs IMG Academy over spring break, and she consistently gives 100 percent at practices and in games! Keep up the hard work, Lily!

Rai Brown '28 - Softball - Rai is on the MS JV team, and during the intrasquad game last week, we appreciated her flexibility and willingness to catch for both teams in the heat when she was needed. She has become more mobile behind the plate and has improved her game awareness tremendously. Way to go, Rai!

Colin McFadden '27 - Baseball - Colin put on a show last Wednesday during our 10-0 rout vs Episcopal! He threw a complete game for the varsity, with a shutout on 68 pitches (2 hits, 1 walk, 8 strikeouts), and also singled and homered at the plate for good measure. Colin’s future is incredibly bright and we can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next!
