Athletes of the Week Ending 3/18

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending 3/18:

Ethan Eckert '25 - Tennis - Ethan put on an awesome performance against Cheltenham to pull off his first singles win of the season. He won a hard-fought, straight-set match, 7-5 7-5. In the big moments of the match, Ethan went for his shots and showed poise under pressure. We are incredibly proud of how he performed under the pressure of a close match. 

Emma Blaszczak '23 - Softball - Emma, aka “Blaze” was 3-4 at the plate last week vs Agnes Irwin in the Devils’ league opener. She had 3 RBIs, 4 runs scored, and made solid plays in center field. As a senior captain, Blaze’s energy and sportsmanship are invaluable, and we look forward to an exciting season with her helping to lead the squad!

Tucker DeLisle '24 - Baseball - Tucker pitched close to 4 innings with no hits and 7 strikeouts in the opening varsity game of the season at Friends’ Central last Thursday, leading the Devils to the win, 6-1. We look forward to his continued steadiness and success this season. Awesome work, Tucker! 

Dax Caplan '26 - Baseball - Dax went 3-3 at the plate for JV last Friday vs Bonner, with a double and two singles. He also played great on the field at shortstop, helping the team to a victory. Way to go, Dax!
