Athletes of the Week Ending 4/8

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week for 3/26-4/8:

Alex Reilly '24 - Lacrosse - Alex was a 72-hour wrecking ball during the week of 3/26, scoring 18 goals, including her 100th career goal vs Inter-Ac foe Notre Dame and chipping in 4 assists for a grand total of 22 points. She scored 5 goals and had 2 assists vs ND; 6 goals and 1 assist vs Hill Academy; and 7 goals and 1 assist vs defending FL state champs Bartram Trails. Her level of play on both ends of the field commanded a great deal of attention from our opponents and we look forward to seeing what she accomplishes next!

Tommy Markey '24 - Baseball - Tommy had an incredible spring break trip for the Blue Devils in Florida. He went 9 for 18 at bat with 3 doubles, 1 triple, and 6 RBIs, with 4 runs scored. Tommy added 6 stolen bases to lead the team to a record of 3-2-1 on the trip. Keep up the great work, Tommy!

Alec Tulio '24 - Lacrosse - Alec had a career and team record of 9 goals and tallied 3 assists in the team’s 21-11 win over Perkiomen School on 3/28! He scored 2 goals and added 1 assist in the tough loss to ANC, and scored a total of 5 goals with 7 assists during the spring break trip victories vs Bolles and Ponte Vedra. Great job, Alec!

The Girls Freshman Quad - Crew - Charlotte Trayes, Iris Dobek, Ariya Goswami, and Rose Rush-King took first place in the 3rd Manny Flick, held on the Schuylkill River on April 2. They beat AIS, the 2nd-place boat, by almost 15 seconds with an excellent time of 5:54.01! Good luck this Sunday, girls!

Quin Dion '26 - Baseball - Quin has handled the catcher's position for the JV squad for almost every game this season and during all of the Florida trip contests.  He has stepped up with positive enthusiasm every day while continuing to grow his craft offensively and defensively. Way to go, Quin!

Brae Powell '26 - Lacrosse - Brae has shown a great deal of flexibility, producing at both ends of the field when called upon in Varsity games and running the midfield during JV games.  Congratulations to Brae for scoring her first Varsity career goal against Notre Dame and adding 2 assists for 3 points in 3 games!
