Athletes of the Week Ending 12/31

The following students have been named Athletes for December 12-31:

Zahkiyyah Frazier '24 - Basketball - Zahkiyyah, a junior co-captain, started the 22-23 season on a mission! Currently averaging 13.5 points and 11 rebounds for the varsity program, she makes an immediate impact in the paint on both ends of the court. Her competitiveness, vocal leadership, and fearlessness have spurred several impressive comebacks for this gritty SCH girls basketball team. Excellent, Z!

Tony Hicks '25 - Indoor Track - Tony finished second in the 60-meter hurdles at the Bob Burdette Track Meet at Lehigh. His time of 8.65 qualified him for the state championships! Keep up the great work, Tony!

Kennedy Hayward '25 - Indoor Track - Kennedy took first in the 60-meter hurdles at the DVGTCA meet at Lehigh with a time of 9.52, the third fastest time in the state of PA. As a result, she qualified for the state championships! Way to go, Kennedy!

Sammi Acuna '26 - Basketball - Sammi has emerged as a capable point guard and playmaker on the girls JV unit. Playing at a steady pace and with unwavering focus, she helped to guide this team to some impressive wins this season! Keep it up, Sammi!

Sam Bevan '27 - Ice Hockey - Sam, an 8th grader playing on the US Varsity team, scored his first high school goal in the team’s battle to a 2-2 tie against EA. Sam had nonstop energy and many chances to score in our game against GA, and we look forward to his continued effort this season! Great job, Sam!

Adrian Rascoe '27 - Basketball - Adrian had 24 points, 14 rebounds, and 2 blocks in a 49-23 win over GFS. Adrian is the only returning player from last year's MS Varsity Basketball team, and he has started off the season with great leadership qualities. Adrian is a terrific young man who leads by example. His effort on the floor helps show our younger players what it takes! Congrats Adrian!

Kendall Schnee '27 - Basketball - Kendall is a slashing shooting guard and a mobile offensive threat for the MS varsity squad. She scored 8 points in a close game vs PC and 14 points vs GA with three 3-pointers in the OT, sealing the Blue Devils’ victory! Awesome work, Kendall!

Max Tonkon '27 - Basketball - Max helped lead the MS JV A squad to an opening day 35-34 victory at GFS. Max helped lead the way with 8 points and was a force on the glass. He has been a terrific leader and he is willing to do whatever is necessary for the team. Keep up the great work Max!
