The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending 1/13:
Ethan Eckert '25 - Ice Hockey - Ethan hustled for 45 minutes straight in last Friday’s game vs ANC, barely coming off the ice the entire game. He has been an excellent role model to our younger players and has shown a quiet intensity that gets the job done in every game. Great work, Ethan!
Kennedy Hayward '25 - Track and Field - Kennedy ran to a 3rd place finish in the 60m hurdles with a 9.23 at the Kristian Marche Memorial Invitational, held at The Armory in NYC on Sunday! Kennedy is currently ranked #5 in PA and continues to improve each week! Keep it going, Kennedy!
Evan Champagne '24 - Squash - Evan helped SCH to a great win over The Hill School 4-3 last Saturday. The team’s victory came down to Evan’s match and he was locked in, securing the win for the Blue Devils. Evan also won his match vs Malvern last Thursday, contributing to the team win, 5-2.
Adrian Rascoe '27 - Basketball - Adrian came alive for the JV Blue Devils last week putting up consecutive double-double performances off of the bench. The 6’1” freshman has flashed all season with his game-breaking athleticism and ability to defend. Awesome job, Adrian!
Nasir Howard '28 - Basketball - Nasir had 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals in the MSB varsity’s 46-39 win over EA last Thursday. Nasir is a new 8th grader who is a really good player and an even better young man! He is everything you look for in a student-athlete with an incredible future! Way to go, Nas!
Sagan Brewster '30 - Wrestling - Sagan brings great energy and enthusiasm every time he competes, and he often wrestles multiple times per meet. He has made solid progress and has several wins this year already. We are excited to see his future success with the MS wrestling team!
Thomas Webber '28 - Basketball - Thomas contributed 10 points in MSB JV-A’s tough 35-36 OT loss to EA last Thursday. He shows grit and determination during each practice and game, and we know he consistently gives 100%! Keep up the good work, Thomas!
