Athletes of the Week Ending 10/1

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending October 1:

Owen Tilsner '24 - Golf - Owen is captain of the varsity squad and shot a 39 last week at Merion West, the low score for SCH at the EA Inter-Ac Invitational. His score was a team best so far this year, and he has definitely put himself in contention to win matches with his level of play. Keep up the excellent work, Owen! 

Maggie Peguero '23 - Cross Country - Maggie ran a career best at the Paul Short Invitational last Saturday at Lehigh University on the heels of a PR at the Souderton Twilight Invite the week before! Her tenacity and drive to break 23 minutes paid off, and we can’t wait to see another epic performance as we continue through the season. Way to go, Maggie! 

Daniel Heep '23 - Soccer - Danny not only had the lone goal in a tough match with Hill School last Saturday, but he also had a clutch clearance off the line in the first half to keep the game within reach. We continue to look to him for his experience and leadership as we enter league play vs GA tomorrow! 

Kerry O’Donnell '24 - Field Hockey - Kerry scored the Blue Devils’ lone goal vs a ranked EA team and also tallied two assists in the GA game last week. Kerry’s incredible skill and poise have been an excellent addition to our team and we are so glad she is at SCH! 

Cali Smith '27 - Soccer - Cali is new to SCH this year and she has already made a great impression on the team. She is focused a team player, and a great athlete. She had one assist and one goal against Agnes Irwin, two goals and two assists vs Penn Charter, and one goal vs GA. We appreciate your determination and sportsmanship!

Read Goodwin '27 - Soccer - Read is a solid presence on the field and played a major role in controlling midfield play in our two ties and one win! Looking forward to your continued hard work and leadership for the remainder of the season, Read!
