Athletes of the Week 4/2

Cole Carberry ‘26 - Lacrosse - Cole is an upper school varsity starter on the boys’ lacrosse squad. He scored 3 goals and 3 ground balls for the Devils during a close 9-7 loss to Hun over break. Cole’s athleticism and skill is remarkable for an 8th grader and we are so excited to see his progress in the future.

CeCe Reilly ‘22 - Lacrosse - CeCe had an outstanding week, achieving and surpassing her 100th career goal milestone despite getting heavy attention from strong 1v1 defensive matchups. CeCe is a senior captain who consistently gives her all during practice and games!

Darrion Rascoe ‘23 - Track and Field - Darrion finished first in the discus with a throw of 150-1 and was second in shot put at the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonial Classic track meet where 25 teams participated. His discus distance is one of the top throws in the state and we are looking forward to his continued success this season.

Jasmine Matthews ‘23 - Track and Field - Jasmine took 1st place in the 300m hurdles with a time of 47.33 at the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonial Classic last Saturday. This time ranks her as PA #8 in the event! Way to go, Jasmine!

Marissa Wolff ‘22 - Softball -  Marissa, normally the starting catcher, stepped up and pitched a game in Florida for the Devils. Although she hadn't pitched for a while, she only walked 1 batter and struck out 5! Marissa moved to first base for the next game, playing a great game defensively, and she also racked up 3 hits and 2 runs. She was a leader from first base and even continued to work with the pitcher and catcher on their pitch calling!

Jack Boyle ‘24 - Baseball - Jack had two singles and two doubles including a game-winning hit for the JV team vs Neumann-Goretti last Saturday. He also had 5 RBIs on the week and a stolen base. Jack has a tremendous work ethic and gives 100% at practice and in games.
