Athletes of the Week: 2/4

Three students are recognized as athletes of the week for the week ending February 6, 2021.

Ava Chavez '23 - basketball - led all scorers with 19 points as she helped the Blue Devils to a 41-29 opening day win over Agnes Irwin. Ava hit one 3-pointer and was 6/10 from the foul line. She is a complete player and leads the team on and off the court.

Winslow Tracy  '23 - squash - played an excellent match and demonstrated true grit as she came back from 0-1 and 1-2 deficits to win 3-2 over a formidable Penn Charter opponent. Winslow, playing out of the #6 position and being down 1-2, including dropping the last game 9-11, came back to dominate the last two games 11-5 and 11-4.

Bobby Markey '21 - basketball - played well in the Blue Devils' opening 55-65 loss to Penn Charter. Bobby threw in 10 points including two 3-pointers, grabbed four rebounds, and came away with three steals.
