Athletes of the Week: 2/28

Four students are recognized as athletes of the week for the week ending February 28, 2021.

RJ Moore '22 - wrestling - went 3-0 at recent Inter-Ac meet, winning one match by a major decision and two by decision. RJ went a combined 6-0 in the two-meet season.

Maya McDermott '22 - basketball - led the Blue Devils as she scored 13 points, pulled down six rebounds and played great defense, stealing eight passes. Maya helped SCH to a 44-40 win over Agnes Irwin to finish the season.

Drew Bown '22 - squash - playing from his #1 position, Drew defeated his Episcopal opponent 3-1 with scores of 11-4, 9-11, 11-1, 11-6. Coaches praised his steady play and reduced errors to a minimum.

Sam Newbold '24 - squash - went 2-0 this week from her JV #4 position with a win over Baldwin (11-4, 11-7, 11-9) and Episcopal (11-1, 11-6, 11-2.) Coaches comment on her 100% effort at every practice and match.
