Athletes of the Week: 11/7

Five students are recognized as athletes of the week for the week ending on November 7, 2020.

Esther Lamb '21 - soccer - is a reliable outside back who rarely gets beat! In the Germantown Academy game, she not only demonstrated her consistent defensive skills, but also was able to use her speed to score two goals—helping the team to defeat the Patriots 7-0 and gain a 3-0 team record.

Daniel Heep '23 - soccer - showed his creativity, positivity, and agility as he scored on a rebound, a breakaway, and a header. His three goals helped the Devils to a 5-0 win over Penn Charter and a 3-0 record. 

Katie Filshill '22 & Winslow Tracy '23 - tennis - won both of their matches this week from their #4 doubles position. They defeated their Germantown Academy opponents 7-6, 6-2, and Notre Dame 6-2, 6-2.

Caroline Foley '23 - field hockey - in her midfield position, she helped the Devils in a competitive 0-3 loss to Germantown. Coach Ehret praised her relentless effort.
