Athletes of the Week 11/6

The following athletes are recognized as Athletes of the Week for the week ending 11/6:

Victor Kasian ‘22 - Varsity Golf - Victor played in the PAISSA Golf Championships held at Glen Mills last Monday and shot 89 on a very difficult course. He finished 25th in the tournament and shot his best nine-hole score of the year (40) on the back nine, getting a birdie on his final hole. Great end to a fantastic high school career. Wishing you all the best in college, Victor!

Colin Woehlcke ‘23 - Varsity Soccer - Colin has figured prominently in the boys' varsity team's success thus far. Having played both outside and in the center of the midfield, Colin has been able to use his skill, quickness, and intelligence to create opportunities for others as well as himself. Against EA last week, Colin scored the lone goal on a great run through the heart of the Churchmen defense. The goal was his fourth of the season. With a PAISAA run in progress and the InterAc title still up for grabs, the rest of the Hillers will lean on Colin's leadership and experience. Good luck!

Lexi Levin ‘24 - JV Tennis - Lexi has been an excellent contributor to the team’s success this year, and always works hard during practice and matches. She has an awesome attitude on court with her teammates and coaches, and we appreciate her worth ethic! Way to go, Lexi!

Hannah Peirce ‘22 - Varsity Field Hockey - Hannah scored 3 goals in the PAISAA semifinal game vs Friends’ Select last Thursday, leading the team to a 7-0 victory. Her leadership as a captain and four-year varsity player has been outstanding, as well as her effort and excellent attitude. Good luck in all you do, Hannah!

Kristyanne Pagbaya ‘26 - MS Volleyball - Kristyanne is new to the SCH volleyball this year and has been a wonderful asset to the team. She has worked hard to perfect her game and her serves and it shows while she plays. Kristyanne was a key player in helping us to victory over AIS! Way to go, Kristyanne!

Joey Schreiber ‘27 - MS Football - Joey had 6 carries for 58 yards and a touchdown at fullback for the Blue Devils in last week’s 14-0 victory over Penn Charter. At middle linebacker, he had 14 tackles and 3 sacks to hold PC scoreless. Joey has been a great addition to SCH this year and we look forward to his future success!
