Pre-K to 12th-grade applicants, please note: Applications received by December 1 will receive an admission decision by January 15 and will have until February 15 to enroll at SCH. After that point, applications are received, and decisions are shared on a rolling basis.

We are delighted that you are considering Springside Chestnut Hill Academy as part of your school search. We welcome applications at any time during the year on a rolling basis, however, our peak admissions season is September through early December.

If you are interested in applying now, please start the process in our Enrollment portal. Once your application has been submitted, you hear from your divisional Admissions Director. After December 1, we continue to review applications throughout the year on a rolling basis.

Decisions & Notification

All applications completed by December 1 will receive an admission decision on or after January 15. The SCH Admission Committee reviews applications as they are completed. Those who received an admissions offer by January 15 will have until February 15th to enroll.

After that point, decisions will be shared on a rolling basis.

Financial aid

Families who are interested in applying for Financial Aid are strongly encouraged to submit their financial aid applications at the same time they complete their admission applications. Financial aid for newly accepted families will be awarded in January during the first round of evaluations. The review process will continue until funds are exhausted, meaning that applications will be considered on a rolling basis. It is advisable to submit your admission and financial aid applications as early as possible to have the best opportunity for consideration.

What fees are associated with applying?

There is a one-time $50 application fee.

For applicants of 2nd-4th grade, the WISC-V assessment which can be privately administered, costs approximately $300 to $1,000.
For applicants of 5th-12th grade, the SSAT or ISEE exam ranges from approximately from $150 to $250.
Lastly, families applying for financial aid must submit a Clarity financial aid application, which cost $60.

*NOTE: most of these assessment fees can be used for your application to all ADVIS, area private, independent schools.

How will I know my application is complete?

Once all necessary files and forms have been submitted, you will be notified that your file is complete and ready to be reviewed by the admissions committee.

Admissions begins reviewing first-round applications December 1, and the offer date for Lower, Middle, and/or Upper School(s) will be sent on or after January 15. After January 15, Admissions moves to rolling admissions for the remainder of the school year through the summer months.
